Cincinnati International Wine Festival

Branding / Visual Identity

The Cincinnati International Wine Festival is a lively celebration of wine and community in Ohio. This annual event invites wine lovers to discover a variety of wines from around the globe, focusing on education, appreciation, and philanthropy through tastings, seminars, and special events.

We were tasked with selecting a festival and creating a new brand identity that highlights its core values, including designing a unique logo and exploring innovative applications.

//Festival’s Core Values

This festival seeks to expand wine culture in the Midwest, moving away from traditional regions. It decentralizes the craft, offering a fresh perspective on appreciating fine wines in a vibrant setting.

Wine adds elegance and joy to celebrations, whether toasting with bubbly or sharing red with friends. It symbolizes happiness, friendship, love, and romance across cultures, enhancing special moments.

Wine brings people together, fostering joy and connection. Sharing a glass sparks conversation and bonds, transforming a simple drink into a celebration of life

//Logo Process

I wanted to showcase the hands-on artistry of wine and the rich sensory experience it offers. It engages taste, smell, movement, and color. When the cork pops, the journey begins.

//Custom Typeface

I made this font from my handwriting. I wanted to give the festival a friendlier feel, moving away from a snobby atmosphere and bringing in a touch of classy fun!

//Color Palette

I chose a primary color palette because it has a universal appeal, and I wanted to create the connection with the international aspect of the festival.
