Exploration of typography, identity, publication design, and text + image treatment. We were required to build a fictional magazine from ground zero, following different steps to develop a visual identity and unique cohesive language.

My goal was to push design within the boundaries of science. Create a space for people to immerse themselves in subject that can feel foreign to art. Gaia is a fictional contemporary science magazine that highlights and explores the versatility, effects, and benefits of different self-sustained organisms.
